Clathic Estate

The estate is situated in the Strathearn Valley, approximately 2 miles east of Comrie and 4 miles west of Crieff. The pretty village of Comrie stands at the meeting of Glens Lednock and Artney, with the Scottish Highlands rising to the north.

History

The surrounding lands of Clathic House date back to at least the 18th century and were associated with the Campbell of Clathic estate.

Location

The majority of central Scotland, including Dundee, can be reached in an hour or so’s drive, with the city centres of Edinburgh and Glasgow approximately an hour and a quarter’s drive.

Accomodation

Clathic estate offers fantastic self-catering accommodation, including Laundry Cottage and Smokehouse Cottage.

Equestrian Facilities

Clathic offers excellent opportunities for those with an interest in equestrian pursuits. In addition to great local riding and hacking, there is a traditional range of stone outbuildings, which include four loose boxes, a tack room, hay and straw storage, and a feed room.

Weddings & Events

The former walled garden comprises principally the north wall, which provides the perfect location for a marquee for weddings and corporate events.

There is an established orchard comprising a variety of different apple trees, crab apples, quince, and pears.
